The concept is about the adaptation of the company ‘Google’ to the identifying cultural, artistic and historic features of Mexico by applying the aesthetic factor of Mexican art and traditions in the office interiors to cater to employees’ needs for a motivating and inspiring environment, while also retaining its playful and dynamic vibe.
The Google office featured different types of Mexican inspired workstations. One of the emphasized workstations of the office is the 'G Box'. It is a designated Google office hub with a café pantry and discussion lounge. It was called the 'G Box' because its floor plan looks like the letter 'G', which was designed that way as a token of the first letter of Google.
Below are different types of Mexican inspired workstations ranging from formal to informal and leisure rooms.
An preliminary architectural conceptual model for the Google Office was also created to emphasize the spatial relationship between the additive forms of the building.
